Chair – Dakota Bouwhuis
Hi I’m Dakota, currently a second year Bachelor student in Plant Sciences. I’ve been doing survivalrun for about 10 years now, and became a part of WOEST just a year ago. Since survivalrun is an important part of my life I didn’t hesitate when I got asked if I was interested in being a board member. Now being part of the 8th board I have the roll as chair, trying to keep WOEST ‘Thriving and Surviving’!
Secretary – Yannick Maes
I’m Yannick, a second year Master student in Food Technology and I come from Belgium. I got into survivalrun about a year ago, I love climbing and the general atmosphere of WOEST. I’m now part of the 8th board of WOEST as the Secretary, hopefully keeping our organisation a bit organised.
Treasurer – Mart Vogels
Hey, my name is Mart and I’m currently in the third year of earth system sciences bachelor. I’ve been doing survivalrun for 8 years and have been a part of WOEST for 2 years. This year I am the treasurer of WOEST, because I want to learn what it takes to keep an organisation running, and I’ll make sure we don’t go bankrupt.
Commissioner of International Affairs – Silvia Casagranda
I’m Silvia, I’m a first-year PhD student in Nutrition and Health and I come from Italy. I got into survivalrun 2 years ago because I love exercising outside and to meet new people. I’m now part of the 8th board of WOEST as the Commissioner of International Affairs, and I’m looking forward to do my best in organizing fun activities and making WOEST a welcoming association for everyone!
